Last Friday I had to take the little doggie to the pound. I just could not keep her any longer I was getting attached and I dont have the time for her. When I left her there I told them the entire story and I even cried a little. Then Saturday the owner messaged me on facebook. Finally. Of course I didnt get this until Sunday morning and the pound was closed. I sent the owner a message telling him whats going on and how to contact Metro Animal Services. This morning I called the pound to give them his information so they could call him and the lady said that Susie Q had already been transferred to the Boston Terrier Rescue. So, if nothing else that is good because even if the owner cannot reclaim her she will be safe for the rest of her life at the rescue! Happy Ending to a crazy crazy story!
Nothing else exciting really happened this weekend. This week I am going to try to make the most of because its my last one before I go back to clinic for the summer semester. Next Tuesday its back to getting up at 630am! Ugh! Gotta do it for the education though!

Long Time No Post = I Fail at This
Well, I am going to try to get a quick synopsis of what has gone on since my last post. Then, again, I am going to try to keep up with this on a weekly basis at least. Hopefully.
As for school, things went great. I got moved to Jewish Downtown and stayed very busy. I have gotten more confidence and many more comps this past semester. As for grades, at times things were hard but I prevailed. In the end I got 3 A's and one B! Honestly, I should have gotten all A's but that skull work test really was a doozie for me. We go back for summer semester in less than two weeks. Starting May 31st - July 7th we have clinic from 730am until 4pm Monday thru Thursday. I am going to go back to working my normal school schedule of Thursday pm, Friday pm and Saturday double. I am hoping I can handle all that. But its just for a few weeks and I wont have any tests to worry about.
As for work, I dont particularily want to comment on it. Its the same really. Frustrating. We have some new people and some of them are good and some are crap. The normal is going on there. The only good thing is I am making good money right now.
The major news has been weddings. Matt and Kristin just got married last weekend, Colby and Belle get married two weeks from Saturday. Rob and Cameron are engaged and they want me to be a bridesmaid next St. Patrick's Day in Flordia (and no the day was not intentional). Adam and Jenna just got engaged a couple of weeks ago and are having an engagement party this weekend in Ohio. Jim and Morgan just celebrated there 1 year anniversary. They also welcomed the birth of there baby boy Barrett last month, he is adorable and I cant wait to meet him. So, needless to say somethings in the water around here. Now let's just see when I get to go. At the wedding everyone was like you are next.... Guess thats up for debate.
As for things with Chase, they are great. As you may have devised from the Jim and Morgan 1 year, its been a year since we went on vacation together. Which is good, sure could use another one though. We went to see a mortgage lady and turns out I have like the best credit EVER. Chase needed to fix a few things but we can probably afford a house at around 105K. So, currently we are thinking Lyndon for our first smaller home, and then once I have a real job making real money we are going to upgrade to Oldham County, definitely before we have school aged children, but thats a while away. He asked me what shape of diamond I want and we talk some about wedding type things. Things are moving along and seem to be falling in place just slowly but thats not bad as long as they keep progressing. Nothing negative to say about this subject really.
My dilemma at the moment is I found this little dog. She is an old Boston Terrier, I found her last Friday on Frey's Hill Road in the middle of the road between Tom Sawyer Park and Indian Springs Subdivision. I took her home and the next day starting checking the paper everyday. I got ahold of the homeowners assocaition of the neighborhood but no response from anyone about losing her. I put an ad on craigslist and checked the lost pets there. Finally, Chase mentioned she might have a microchip. So, we took her to the vet and she does! But we call the number and its not the same person, they changed thier number but not for the microchip. So we go to the address, here we find out 6 months ago they moved to Washington state. I found them on facebook and sent a message asking if she got out and has been lost a long time or if he gave them to someone and I can return her. No responce yet. She is older and needs lots of attention. Honestly I think she has been on the road alone for 6 months and its amazing how far from her home she traveled. I have been keeping her in the pin oustide but she does not like it. I cannot keep her, I dont have the time to devote to a new dog, especially an older one who is attention hungry when I am about to be spending all my time at school and work. I hate to take her to the pound but I am running out of options. Humane wont take her and if they do they will do the same thing as the pound because she is older and isnt adoptable. I called a Boston Terrier rescue place, but they wont return my calls. Ive done so much and all I want is the best for this little dog and I cant give it to her. Turn out her name is Susie Q, I hate to see her go but she hates it outside in the cage. I dont know what to do anymore.
Thats all for now. Ill try to keep up better in the future. I know I say that but I mean it...
