I havent blogged in a few days but nothing exciting has happened. Just been busy with school and work. Trying to make enought money for the vacation and trying to get through the last two weeks of school.
I did buy two dresses for the vacation they are both sundresses more or less. They are cotton and go to my knees. One is solid yellow and bright and has thicker straps. The other is blue with white flowers that are outlined in black, it has a halter design top. I really like them. I had to buy dresses because I got the dress I wanted to take out of the closet and it had a mystery stain on it. So, I took it to the dry cleaners and the couldnt get it out, so I tried to get it out using the "old wives tale" way and it came like 60% out, so I am going to try again but in case I need two dresses for the wedding and this way if I get the stain out I can have 3 dresses for the summer and the trip! The mystery stain is really annoying though, it looks like cooking oil or grease does but it had an orange-red tint to it and it was NOT on the dress when I put it in the closet so, wft...
So, is not bad, classes are boring and short in a lot of classes. I did half of the volunteering thing. We went to the Volunteers of America and got split into the two guys and two girls the guys went to the cafeteria to help get ready for lunch and myself and Tanya went to straighten things up and clean out some things. First, we cleaned out the basement and organized the donated toys that were left from Christmas. Then we organized the extra towels, blankets, and pillow cases in the office/storage room. They gave us a tour but there wasnt much to it. The rooms, the cafeteria, the living area, and the toy room, plus a little library with a couple of computers. The people who stay there are either recovering women in one area or the families in crisis in another, they also can stay there during the day and have a private room, one per family, rather than having to stay in a group room and leave between 9am and 5 pm. It was interesting and eye opening, but more than anything Tanya and I talked. She is from Pakistan (looks Indian) and we just talked about life and culture differences, she has only been here 4 years so we just asked a lot of questions. That was fun. We have to go back this Wednesday too for 2 hours I cant wait to get it out of the way.
Other than that all I have done is work. I didnt get to go to Thunder or anything else. I am working again all this weekend. But gotta make that money, right?

Finger update
I went to my doctor today because I just dont feel comfortable with how it was looking and feeling for that matter. Well, she told me that I need to go to Kuntz and Kleinarnt, which are the world famous hand surgeons here in town. Yep, hand surgeon, she thinks that the stitches need to come out and the silver nitrate needs to be rubbed off and then it needs to be re-stitched. So, I am super excited about this. Luckily, mom can go with me tomorrow afternoon so I dont have to drive home from the doctor after they fol with my finger but I will have to drive back to my house from moms. Plus I have to miss my humanities class because the only appt they could get me soon enough is at 3 pm tomorrow. Speaking of I need to write my teacher an email and let her know why I wont be there tomorrow. Oh and if I couldnt make things worse I slammed my middle finger into the front door yesterday trying not to catch my ring finger in the door. Therefore basically two or my fingers dont work properly on my left hand. Blah.

Argh!
So, as I have previously stated I am going on vacation and obviously I have bills so I am a little stressed. I dont want to have debt after the vacation but that means I have to pay it off before we leave. I also have to have money to pay all my bills that come due 2 days after we get back from vacation, and have money to spend while on vacation. So, to say the least I am worried about money and I need to work as much as I possibly can. Well, this morning of course I would find a way to compromise that, I sliced my finger WIDE open. It was super deep and like across the entire palm half of my ring finger. So, had to leave work, go to the immediate care center and get 4 stitches. Then it wouldnt stop bleeding so they had to use the silver nitrate to cauterize it, so there is this huge black burnt piece of my finger and 4 stitches and the numbness is just now wearing off and it hurts worse than when I cut it. This figures. Now I am bummed. Going to go back to work tonight, I hope that I can work efficiently tonight, I need the money!

Long time, no post
Ok, so for a few months I have been very bad at this, and I am going to try to get back to at least once a week again now. Its been so long I dont even know where to start. I suppose I will start with school.
School has been really trying the last couple of weeks. I just had a ton of assignments and tests. Now that its the end of the semester, I am pretty much done with everything. I only have one report, one group project, and two finals left, but they are not cumulative so they shouldnt be to terrible because we only have 3 weeks left before finals week. My communications class is really irritating though. We have to do this group service learning thing, which is really mandatory volunteering with people in our class. The worst thing about it is that we have to do a group presentation as well as a written paper on it and its only 4 hours, but to me mandatory volunteering makes it not volunteering. Humanities is easy and boring, I only need to do a chapter report and its only on a section of the chapter. Also, I went to my conference to turn in my application for getting into the radiography program. They called and I have my interview the day before Oaks Day, but we still wont know if we get in until June. I really hope Billows has time to meet with me before that day and prep me for the interview. I already applied for my FAFSA money so I hope its not for nothing.
Work has been work, i am just working as much as I can with school so that I have money because right now bills are tight!
In other, good, news things with Chase are great. We are going to Jim's wedding in Naples, FL in May! I am so excited. After that we are going to his uncles beach house in Melbourne for a week. So, we are leaving on May 21st and flying to Tampa where we are going to eat lunch at a place Chase wants to go. He grew up in Tampa like from a baby to 13, so he has family there and wants to go somewhere specific. Then we are driving to Naples which will take about 2 and a half hours. We are going to stay there until the 24th. The Sunday the 23rd is Jim and Morgan's wedding before that on Saturday night there are hors d'oeuvres and drinks. We are going to stay at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, which is a few miles from the beach resort but there is a shuttle that goes back and forth every 30 minutes. Bob and JoJo said the resort is REALLY nice like completely top of the line. So, I am really excited about getting to go and stay there with just Chase it'll be like my first real adult kinda thing, if it makes any sense at all. On the 24th we are driving to Melbourne to stay until the 30th. Sometime in that time frame David and Maci are coming down. Btu we dont know yet if they are going to fly and we are going to pick them up in Ft. Meyers or Naples, or if they are going to drive and then we are going to take the rental car Chase and I have back to Orlando early and then use their car. But at any rate, this should be fun. One of the best parts is really that Chase and I are going to get like 9 days off work in a row! That hasnt happened for either of us since the restaurant opened. The negative part of this is that the last time I went to FL I got sun poisoning really bad. And since this event I have not been successfully tan at all. So, I am trying to get tan, really hard. But so far I have burnt myself twice and have sun poisoning on my arms. The first time I went to the tanning bed I burnt myself from my knees to half way up my boobs, yes just the bottom half was burnt and this was only on the front of my body. Then I have just been out in the sun as much as possible but not with the normal sun block I have worn for years and so my arms got sun poisoning and they itch like no other, plus they look awesome. But I figure better to suffer now and get a tan and get past it then to have this happen while I am on vacation and ruin that plus waste all the money I am spending on this vacation.
In other news, JoJo and Bob are thinking of buying a villa in Jamaica. It was built by Winston Churchill for his granddaughter Lady Sarah. Ill pause so you can re-read that sentence........it has a pool and 5 huge bedrooms and 3 baths and a view of Montego Bay. They can rent it out for $5000 a week, for every week they dont want to be there. They will get a membership to a resort there so that whomever stays there whether JoJo and Bob or me or the people renting it, can go down and use the resorts facilities and beach property, how sweet is that? So, next year I may be writing about how I am getting ready to go to Jamaica and stay at the villa!
I think that is the gist of the important parts of what has transpired in the last couple of weeks, maybe months.
