Well, Ill try to make this fast and short and get everything in here. Since clinicals things have been busy. I like it ok, I like the job more than the facility, Ill try to elaborate more on how I feel about it when they start back up in January. As for school and grades, I got two As and two Bs, I am happy with that. I also got 7 check-offs this first semester, so I am feeling good about that. Things were crazy with school and work, esp around finals. It seemed like classes were never going to end, but here we are and 1/4 of the way through!
Mom finished her chemo. She has to go get an IVIG treatment once a month through the spring but then she will be done with that. Its an immune system booster and will help build her back up. Hopefully, she will go into remission and stay there for a long time. Unfortunately we will not know and the doctor cannot say what he thinks will happen for sure, that is upsetting and some real finality would be nice, but we will take what we can get in this arena. You hear all the time about people going into remission and whatnot, but with moms particular cancer there are no guarantees.
I had a birthday and I am now 26, there really isnt much exciting to say about that. It was a good birthday and Chase got me some good stuff. JoJo took me shopping and I got some good new clothes, including a new winter coat, its really nice and I love it.
Its good we got that coat because its been freeezzing around here! In November the temperature dropped off and only returned to the 50s once or twice. Since December started its been snowing off and on all month! Now we are lucky to get out of the 30s. I dont think its been in the 40s in at least 3 weeks. We are in for a long winter around here. But on the bright side its looking like we will have a white Christmas for the first time in a long time. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and its supposed to start snowing tomorrow through Christmas Day.
Right now the issue is that I have too much going on at Christmas and I am having a difficult time finding time to spend with Chase's family. I want to see his immediate family, but work is messing it all up. They want us to work Christmas Eve and so we cannot do much after that. Then all day Christmas Day Im booked because of my family being divided, and we are going to work Christmas Night because work sucks. I guess as long as Chase and I get to exchange our presents Ill be ok. I just hope when I get older we can figure something out to make this work. Or I wish the restaurant would go away so we could do it Christmas Eve and it not be a big deal. Blah, itll get worked out. We managed to make Thanksgiving work, but its not quite as busy.
Clyde is still being a butt-face but not as much of one as of late. We also got him a dog house and an outside pen, but its been so cold he only got to use it for a couple of weeks. I have no idea what we are going to do in January and February when Im back at school and clinicals all day and Dad's at work. I guess we will cross that bridge when we get to it. Im going to do a better job of keeping up from now through the rest of the year and beginning of next year.
