Surgery impending

I have been having stomach problems again. They came back slowly and I just assumed it was my acid reflux that bothered me so bad as a kid coming back. I tried my old over the counter methods and as they began to fail miserably I decided to make a doctors appointment. Well, my doctor is out on emergency family leave and her covering doctor couldnt see me this week. So, I just made an appointment for next Tuesday. The pain was just too intense and lasting and Chase convinced me I shouldnt wait until next week. He said he would go with me to the immediate care and I agreed to go. When I got there I explained to this doctor my old problems as a kid and my problems now and he immediately said, sounds like gallbladder disease. He then went into a long explanation about why he thought this, and was unfortunately very convincing. They then scheduled me for an ultrasound the next day, which was this morning. I went and the lady was like, "Yes I can see the gallstones, see them?" And I could a lot of them. That meant it was a positive test and my gallbladder has failed me and has to be removed. The good thing about this is normally with someone my age the ultrasound is negative and you have to have a nuclear medicine scan. But I dont have to have that since its blatantly obvious I have gallstones. At this point I dont know anything further. I am hoping we can get this surgery on the go and I can have it next week since I dont have school all week. If I did have to have it during my school time they wouldnt count it against me or take my days I am allowed to miss away because of it, but I really dont want to miss the lectures and get behind in that way. Especially at the beginning of school like this. Well, I am going to go to the store and buy some fresh fruit to eat, since anything with fat in it may potentially make me feel like complete shit. More updates as I know what the heck is going on.
